Advertising & affiliate disclosure

Some product cards on Dragonfruits are sponsored or use affiliate links. They are always labelled “Sponsored”. When you click one, we redirect you through our own link service (/go/…) and may earn a commission. Sponsorship never changes our editorial criteria.

What we collect

We use first-party, privacy-conscious measurement: a pseudonymous session cookie, coarse device and country classification, page engagement (scroll depth, reading time), and clicks on labelled sponsored cards. We do not build cross-site profiles, and we do not sell personal data.

Some visits arrive via a partner link with a pseudonymous reference token. That token contains no name, e-mail address, or account identity, and we cannot resolve it to a person.

Cookies

df_sid (session reference, 24h), df_entry (how you arrived, 24h), df_consent (your consent choices). All are first-party and signed; none are used for cross-site tracking.

Consent

Advertising partners that require consent load only after you accept them. Choosing “contextual only” keeps the site fully functional with first-party content.

Retention & deletion

Engagement events are retained for a bounded period (default 90 days) and raw partner callbacks for 30 days, after which they are deleted or anonymized. We do not store full IP addresses. To exercise data rights, contact the site operator; sessions are pseudonymous, so provide the approximate visit time.
